Keith McGlasson from Cubby’s, who did a Manual Handling course with us a few months ago, left us the following feedback: “Consider using more help when lifting objects”. When we contacted him to ask about the feedback he left he told us this: “Yes, I do that more now, I have a bulging disk in my back so I get help from colleagues to lift heavier objects”. Lennox Hunter from Balfour-Beatty, who did a Confined Spaces course with us a few months ago, left us the following feedback: “I’ll now always look through the documentation and make sure it is right”. When we got in touch with him he had this to say when asked about his feedback: “Yes, when he’s been in a confined space, he’s checked people in and out of the confined space”. https://www.balfourbeatty.com/Homepage

Monica Fearn from Now Then Developments, who did a tiling boot camp and an IOSH course with us a few months ago, left us the following useful feedback: “Try to eliminate hazards where possible and reduce them if I can”. When we got in touch with her to ask if she had acted upon this feedback she said: “Definitely, Today I was sawing timber using proper PPE and sawing it outside to reduce dust. I’ve really taken it on board”.

David Crozier from Crozier Site Services, who did a Confined Spaces course with us a few months ago, left us the following useful feedback: “How to be better prepared in an emergency situation”. When we contacted him to ask if he had acted upon his feedback he said “It was very useful, keeping myself refreshed. Since then I’ve done deep excavations and tunnelling projects, it keeps me aware of how to deal with a situation where something has gone wrong”.
