BEFORE YOU DIG……
THERE IS A NEW SERVICE AVAILABLE WHICH MAY PROVE VITAL TO SOME OF OUR CLIENTS AND IT’S CALLED BeforeUdig.
beforeUdig is a “Plan Request” service designed to assist both contractors (diggers) and Utilities, Asset Owners and Statutory Undertakers. This “Plan Request” service enables the contractors to request plans from utilities in a very simple step-by-step process. Once the request has been lodged with beforeUdig each utility is notified of your intention to dig.
The Contractor will be sent a list of the Notified Utilities which can be used as a check list to make sure all Utilities have responded to their request.
Only when the Contractor has received Plans/information from the utilities for the dig site should they proceed with any planned works.
