We have delivered programmes for unemployed adults in General Construction Operations, Land Drilling and Plastering with a high percentage gaining full time jobs and NVQ qualifications.We have also just started a programme for experienced construction managers in partnership with the University of Cumbria.

Our methods were recognised by ConstructionSkills who have awarded us the contract to train apprentice plasterers in South Cumbria.

We also train NVQ assessors as part of our commitment to On-site assessment

Our most popular courses are: Confined Spaces, Mobile Access Towers (PASMA), Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Scaffold Inspection, First Aid (HSE), Water Hygiene (EUSR), Delivering Tool Box Talks, Plastering, Portable Appliance Testing, Managing Safely (IOSH), Work at Height, Asbestos Awareness, Basic Leveling, CDM, Risk Assessment/Method Statements, Fire Safety, Streetworks NRSWA, and Plant Operating CPCS.

We are CAA approved and offer two options:

External Assessment: A member of our team will carry out the assessment. All of our assessors are vastly experienced in a particular trade/occupation and in order to ensure that quality assessment is carried out, they only assess in their field of expertise.

Internal Assessment: We train and qualify an appropriate person within a company to act as the assessor. We integrate the NVQ system into the company’s day to day work and the focus is to improve their overall business performance.
